You might have read our February blog on Aquasealz™ technology, explaining the simultaneous waterproofness and breathability of Sealskinz products. Fusion Control™ works with Aquasealz™ to enhance the cohesive functionality of a multifaceted glove.
A technical, open-mesh bonding process, Fusion Control™ ensures waterproofness, insulation and breathability can exist in the same glove.
In terms of breathability, an ‘open mesh’ bond between layers helps accelerate the transfer of moisture out of the glove, avoiding the buildup of internal perspiration while denying the entry of external elements. Hands will remain aerated and dry while exercising.
Importantly, the ‘open mesh’ is bonded with a hot melt adhesive, preventing slippage between layers. This form of lamination technique makes the internal lining non-slip and seamless, helping the glove exist as ‘one’ despite its many layers.
